Special Reasons
Special Reasons for Not Disqualifiying
In some circumstances the Court has the option not to disqualify you if it can be persuaded that special reasons for driving exist in your case.
Driving a Short Distance
If you have driven a very short distance and satisfy a number of other conditions, such as that you were not intending to drive any further, then the Court could be persauded to find special reasons not to disqualify you.
Medical Emergency
If you were answering a medical emergency, which meant that you had no alternative but to drive whilst over the presecribed limit, then the Court might decide that there is a special reason not to disqualify you.
