Penalties

The penalty is usually points and a fine however, speeding can lead to disqualification.

Disqualification 

The Court can disqualify you if your speed was far in excess of the road you were on.

Notice of Prosecution

Failing to provide information about the driver suspected of speeding is an offence which could result in six points on your licence.

Totting Up

If you accrue 12 points or more within a three year period, then the Court must disqaulify you for six months or more unless you can establish that you would suffer exceptional hardship if you were disqualified. 

Being caught speeding is not the end of the road!
